LEGO aircraft and helicopter models
These are all the LEGO aircraft and helicopter models that I currently still have in one piece. About two years ago I made a montage of all the aircraft and helicopter models I had at the time. Back then I had 29. I’ve obviously had a bit of a building spree, because currently I have 45.
I’ve been diversifying. Two years ago all the aircraft and helicopter models were scaled 1/36 and were contemporary Russian or American types. I only built four new 1/36 scale aircraft since: Eurofighter Typhoon, a Hawker Fury, a Sea Harrier and a Tophatters F-14A. Because helicopters at a scale of 1/36 can be very fiddly, the two new helicopters I built (a Lynx and an OH-58D Kiowa) were built to a much larger scale: 1/22, which is also the scale I use for many of my models of ground vehicles. All the other new additions are models of WW-II aircraft built to a smaller scale, intended for minifigs (for which I take a scale ranging from 1/43 to 1/40).
There are bound to be more!
Model A at Union Hill Farm

The bluebonnets were not very thick around Union Hill Farm this year, but I was pleased to find this old Model A in the meadow beside the farm. Photo taken on Union Hill Road in Ellis Co. TX on April 15, 2013.
Here is the same scene on April 20, 2015: flic.kr/p/sf8e9k
