How did you get that name?: originally i use to use the name punch lines back in 5th grade, every other line i wrote was a punch line so i mind as well use it. Too many people were using the name so it was changed to relapse. My boy T.K named me that when i was younger shouts out to him. But after a while i dropped the r-e and stuck with lapse.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?: I would have to say making it past the age 21 while living in the bronx. just playing! One of the biggest things ive done is accomplish to create my own studio quality music. in which i mean writing, recording, editing and mastering everything myself. Of course all of this was able to happen with the help of having a college degree, Telecomunications major.
What has been your most difficult challenge?: To be honest getting signed, ive been rapping for so long and still havent made it into the industry. In my opinion all of my music is industry worthy im sure alot of people can agree to this but still no deal. Of course thier are offers but if the money aint right that brick wall is still standing between me and success.
What makes you different?: Well first and foremost i write all my own music, i mean everything. all recording, editing and mastering are done by me. On 1 exception of producers who like to edit and master my voice on to their instrumentals and to their own liking. I also produce some of my music myself. I record on any type of genre of music, wether its rap, r & b, Jazz, or pop. Anything music inspired i do thats the difference between me and alot of artist’s. Most of these artists have one style and one style only which isnt very marketable. 1 other thing is alot of these industry artist’s have ghost writer’s which im against 100 percent.

I also have another mixape coming this winter with my crew called triangle offense. Also the album is complete and once i get a good offer on a deal that will be released.
Where are you from originally? : Bronx, Ny born and raised!
How Long have you been making music? : For about 13 years ever since i hit the 5th grade ive been doing music. The battle rapping feild help me gain alot of experience and confidence to make music so without that i’d be nothing.
What artists inspire you? : Anything inspires me from everyday life, To the news. To music, Etc. etc. But the thing im inspired by the most is the finished product of my recording. Just to hear myself come through the speakers and to see other peoples reactions inspire me the most.
How would you define your style of music? : Diverse! Becuase, alot of my music i record is for any age or race the many people i know can relate to the things i write.

Who are some artists that you have worked with? : Well i really havent worked with any big time artist’s only the people who i keep in my circle. MY cousins phantom, and Young inq. My sister Young qwa. my lil brother nox. And all my other dudes making music 8th wonder, Al boogs, Robby bishop, Inkspillz, alot of people to name and go out ill jus leave it their.
Who would you like to collab with? : Industry wise, Lloyd banks, Fabolous, Dipset, Andre 3000, J cole, wiz khalifa, young money, cory gunz, etc. R & B wise, Neyo, chris brown, trey sonz, the dream, ciara, latoya lucket, mariah carey, tierra marie, etc.
Where do you see the future of music? : At the rate hip hop is going now i dont really know its bouncing back and forth. But i could see alot of people still doing the dance songs and all that because its a new trend. Really to tell the truth music has really took a downfall from what i used to listen to growing up. No one is buying albums anymore the future of music is in ring tones, Shows, And downloads thats where i see it going.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year? : On stage performing at big areans and venues. Touring the world and doing what i love best. As long as god keeps me here on this earth and as long as im still breathing ill be doing music until i cant anymore. Even without a deal ill still do this because this is what i love. I gotta get out of the hood one day hopefully.
