“I’m passionate about many things in life. I love to read, travel, paint, …just enjoy life. I find beauty in the small things and love positive and motivational messages. I try to portray that side of spirituality in my art; bright glowing happy colors! I feel like I have an old soul but am young at heart. I consider myself a huge nerd and am an avid gamer (ISO epic IRL moments). I love the game Clue, to go to comedy clubs, enjoy family and close friends, and most importantly seeing the two most important people in my world smiling.I recently picked up a paintbrush for the first time in my life and discovered a whole new world; a world brimming with imagination, creativity, freedom, expressionism, and vivacity. I’ve always been creative in a way, but never artistic. This talent is completely new to me and each time I produce a piece I amaze myself more and more. I believe that somehow, someway, this talent was passed down to me from my grandmother when I went to visit her in December. She was a great painter but went blind and could never paint again.Upon my return home, I painted my first painting ever – and sold it on Facebook. Since then I’ve been sopping up as much information on painting as I could – either by watching YouTube or taking classes at local hobby stores. In March, despite everyone telling me how dangerous it was, I flew to Mexico…alone. I stayed a week there and trained with the world renowned Leonid Afremov. I still continue to train with him via video and am practicing new techniques with the palette knife with each painting.I’m also a freelance public speaker. I specialize in presenting to small businesses and how to develop a comprehensive social media campaign. I typically present to parties of 10 or more.
