Describe Your Music:     Rap/R&B

What inspired you to get into music?     I first got into music when I use to go to my grandparents house and hear my grandpa in the kitchen on his guitar. Seeing how happy and care free he was while doing his music, made me interested in beoming a musician. Then I started to hear my brother rap and always wondered, did I havr what it took? And I did. Plus, majority of the female rappers out right now don’t have bars, but just the right beat to make it a “dope” song.
Who are some artists that you looked up to growing up?     I looked up to Ciara, Alicia Keys, Missy Elliot, and Da Brat growing up on the female end. T.I., Eminem, Andre 3000, and 2 Pac peeked my interest as well growing up. Now I added, Wale and Meek Mill in the mix as well.
Where can we hear your music?     You can check me out on youtube. My single “Forever Boy” by NikkaRenee ft/ Day the Fresh is the only song I had a chance to record at the moment, but I do have plenty of songs laying around my room ready to be recorded. That’s all I do.

Where can we see your videos?     Haven’t made any videos yet. Trying to write the perfect song that a make ya mind wonder and a video that would set me apart from these other, “female rappers”.

Are you looking for management?     Yeah. I’m looking for somebody who is just as dedicated to music as I am. I don’t like slackers. When it comes to my money and doing something I love, I don’t want no games.

What is the craziest thing that has happened to you relating to music?     Somebody told me they wanted me to have a youtube battle with Nicki Minaj. Lolz. Joke to me, but whatever.

How do you find beats to record on?     I create my own beats or I talk to my homeboy who produce and tell him thr direction I want to go in and he’ll piece somethings together.

Where would you like to see yourself in 5 years?     Living comfortable as one of the baddest female rappers to ever touch the mic and having my mom living like a queen with n worries.

Would you be interested in being featured in our print edition?     Whatever gets my name out here in a POSITIVE way, I’m always up for it.
