Where can we hear your stuff?: reverbnation.com
myspace.com
youtube.com
How did you get that name?: the music we create wasn’t anything like what people were used to hearing…in order to get your hands on our type of music, you would have to know someone affiliated with us…people would always say, damn, it’s like ya’ll music on the black market or something…in other words, you know it’s there, you just have to find that connect to get you to it, or get your foot in the door
What has been your biggest accomplishment?: we can’t really say we ACCOMPLISHED anything BIG just yet…BEAR got off those papers so that’s an accomplishment..but as far as music related, we’re still trying to garner respect, attention, & adoration
What has been your most difficult challenge?: our most difficult challenge is getting heard & reaching places that we can’t physically be…the music does separate us from most groups because we’re not doing the FAD thing…we like to keep hip-hop authentic…majority of the world ain’t balling out right…gas prices are sky rocketing right now
What makes you different?: in my honest opinion, it’s the value of the music that we bring to the table…we try to make sure we don’t sound like anybody else… we grew up in a different era then it seems like now, and we are tryin to give our generation, music that we know they’re missing
What projects are you working on?: currently we’re working on a project called Return of the Sneaker Junkie…we also have Porn Star music out & in the streets right now…also, we’re doing a project called Just a Sample…we’re staying busy
Where are you from originally? : BEAR da Budha Junkie was born in NJ…Branson Rich was born in KY…our father was in the military so we moved around quite a bit…regardless of the fact, our roots still come back to Carolina…generations
How Long have you been making music? : it’s hard to say when we actually started…we’ve been taking it seriously for about 10 years now
What artists inspire you? : inspiration can come from several places…my son…maybe hearing some good news..even just being in the right environment can trigger bars or a hook to start forming
How would you define your style of music? : as far as BEAR, he’s more of a lyrical, grammar oriented artist…Branson is more of that gritty, raw & uncut street dude
What teams are you affiliated with? : depends on what you mean by that…we’ve been dealing with a lot of people in GA & NC & SC…some seem to be about their business while others are just caught up with greed…remember, all money ain’t good money
Who are some artists that you have worked with? : we haven’t recorded with any industry artists…we want people to know that we can stand on our own & hold our ground
Who would you like to collab with? : we’re open to work with just about anybody…as long as the person is open minded & knows that we think outside the box, it’s all to the G
Where do you see the future of music? : the future right now is looking brighter because we’re in it…without us, it’s gonna be hard to swallow
Where do you see yourself in 1 year? : touring…preferably overseas, and establishing ourselves as one of the best groups EVER, regardless the genre
Describe yourself in one word. : BMC is one of the most anticipated groups to make a breakthrough in the history of hip-hop
Any shout outs? : Carolina all day everyday…to my fam, much love, and to EVERYBODY out there supporting the F’n
