Mr. Abhishek Tewari one of the directors at CCL pioneered for the first time in media and entertainment industry the deployment of blade servers for rendering. Mr. Abhishek Tewari innovated the use of HP blade server technology in the rendering process at Pixion. HP blade server technology uses cluster of sixteen servers in one chassis giving huge computing power. Mr. Abhishek studied the HP blade technology carefully and tested it in the rendering process at Pixion.

The results were amazing and few finding are as below.

One HP blade chassis takes one third the space as compared to normal servers, this resulted in huge saving on real estate cost.
As HP blade server technology take very less power to run, the requirement of power was brought down drastically.
