Who is Geolani Grandz?

Geolani Grandz is one of the hardest working men in hip hop. Google his name and pray that your computer has enough memory to hold every site that he’s on. Geolani, along with partners Ransom Rellic and Montega are responsible for the worldwide movement known as Team Afficial. He also runs a label called AdoubleF Ent. along side his Team Afficial partners. The Movement is also the home to over twenty deejays worldwide, six talented artist, and four producers.

How did you get started?

Started by promoting clubs and managing mixtape heavy weight Dj Lust, as well as former D Block producer, Liveson.
Through meeting artist and gaining connects in the industry, i started taking the game serious in 2004. I always messed with the pen
but never really took it serious. Alot of people were getting at me for management because of the work i put in, so
i decided to start my own movement called Team Afficial, and it was then where i got my pen game on something heavy
and became a artist as well as a boss.

What projects have your worked on and what was the result?

First project i put out was “Boss Chronicles” hosted by Dj Lust, Big Mike, Evil Empire, Dub Floyd, Dj Diggz, and Dj Smooth Denali.
That project was what we call laying the foundation, getting that respect as a artist. That set me up for my 2008 release “Zillion Dollar Boss”
hosted by Dj Lust, Dub Floyd, & XXL Magazine’s own Dj Rhude, this project got me noticed as one of the hottest underground
artist in the game. Hence the Justo Awards Nomination for “Best Underground Artist on a Mixtape” along with Joell Ortiz, Juice,
Joe Holiday, & Two Five. Joell Ortiz took it home but it was definitely an experience. I was on over 1500 mixtapes in 2008, on over
100 thousand sites, and in 4 magazines. I took off for a whole year, but now i am back on my grind.

Tell us about your new project.

“Grandz Opening” is out now hosted by Dj Lust, which is a “Best Of” mixtape, with old and new tracks (Google it).
This will set me up for my album titled “Life Is Grandz” which will be dropping by end of year. Right now i got
digital distro through JSMG / Interscope and i am still looking for physical distro as we speak. My single “Doing Me” is
in the clubs heavy and you can purchase “I Just Want The Paper” feat Styles P on Itunes right now. My album
also has appearances from Sheek Louch, Dv Alias Khryst, Stack Bundles, Dramills, and more. Also on the production side
i have Metro Beats, Jimi Kendrix, Bleek Beats, Drone Beats, Lokken Load, JustReallyGood, and more.
