Grace Remedi

Born in Boston, Raised in Bronx, NY & and  Miami FL. Now I reside in Orlando, FL. My mother is Domican and my Father is Cuban. Being that I’ve moved from city to city so much in my childhood I’ve developed great social skills and can adapt easily to my surroundings. I’ve been active all my life, from joining the dance team, show choir, to even the weight lifting team through out middle and high school. I started and found sponsors to create a hip-hop dance team for the less fortunate at my high school in 2003, and till this day the group is stronger and has set their name in stone as Club International. I then began to notice the qualities in myself that I saw in my mother. My mother was a single parent with two daughter, not knowing a word of English, and survived in the great big city of New York. ‘Till this day I have never seen her out of her work uniform. The most important achievement in my house hold was having the up most education and practicing all house chores. She made me the independent woman I am today.
I earned my B/A degree in fashion design and merchandising  this year, and I am pursuing my masters in February of 2010. I have established my own business in the state of Florida for my up and coming label Remedi Fashions, and I am currently working on my music and developing myself as an artist. I am determined and will continue to progress towards my long term goals in life.

Describe A Perfect Date: I’m a mix of being adventurist during the day and a home body by evening time, so the perfect date to me would take more creativity than cash.
Starting the day off  with a nice walk by a soothing lake or beach maybe even rollerblading or any other fun sport, such as bowling, golfing, batting cages, and etc.
Then starting the evening with a man that shows his skills in the kitchen and sets a romantic scene for two in our own little private location while watching a comedy.
When did you decide you wanted to get into modeling? I decided to get into modeling at the age of 17 when I discovered my passion for fashion. The art of modeling allowed me to express a more confidant side and admiration for the saying ‘ beauty and brains’ . I feel that image is everything when one is involved in the entertainment business, but you’re  a lost case if you can’t keep up with negotiating, contracts, and have no sense of books and street smarts. Modeling is more than Eye-Candy, all pictures should tell a story and it’s up to the model to get her point across with no words yet with the use of  just poses and facial expressions.
What are some of your short term and long term goals? Some of my short term goals are:
to keep building my business and promote my brand.
Gain more recognition locally
Long term goals are:
Getting my designs and garments into popular boutiques such as, Dash & Fusions in Miami Beach, FL.
Open up my own boutique

Have a happy healthy family & a beautiful home
