How did you get that name?: My real name is Ksenia. It`s russian name. When I was a child my mom used to call me Ksysenka. Don`t pronounce first letter `k`, just say `susenka`
What has been your biggest accomplishment?: I finished my third album and gonna release it soon
What has been your most difficult challenge?: To get on with things that I would never get on with, such as terminal illness and bereavement
What projects are you working on?: I am working on my new single release and new album. Last time I worked in studio as an engineer producing new tracks
Where are you from originally? : I was born near Moscow, Russia
How Long have you been making music? : I think more than 5 years. I started writing my own songs at the age of 16, it was 2006
What artists inspire you? : Everything around me, some artists, some rappers. I even can be inspired by the weather or one phrase.
How would you define your style of music? : Sometimes even I can`t describe what I`m exactly writing. I can say that`s new and something that people never heard before.
What teams are you affiliated with? : Right now I`m working on my own. I tried to get a record deal but all my efforts were useless. I still submit demos to record labels, record companies but I didn`t get any serious offer
Who are some artists that you have worked with? : Usually I work with beatmakers. I have a song on my new unreleased album with RnB singer Don JayMor http://www.reverbnation.com/donjaymor He has a great voice and of course he is very talented singer.
Who would you like to collab with? : I would like to collaborate with every one who has a desire to work with me. I wish I could work with some great producers and beatmakers
Where do you see the future of music? : When I began working with my first album I wanted to develop a new fresh style in music industry. There are so many male artists in our world, I mean rappers but if you ask ordinary people to call the name of some female rappers they can call two or at three names. You can ask such question here in the USA. If you go abroad maybe only one name will be called. So, I want people listen to female MCs too because we deserve to be heard. I know many, many female rappers not only around me or in New York area, worldwide and their music is great and some of them got more skills than any male artist.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year? : i see my face everywhere reading articles about me in all famous magazines, see platinum album release, no diamond lol I can`t predict it I even can`t say what will happen to me tomorrow
