How did you get that name? It was first ‘200Negros’ to celebrate more than 200 years of Independance of Haiti … but because of the medias racism and all the scariness that the name brought to people….we changes it to ‘Les200’ … that means ‘The200’ … It’s a collective with many different good solo artists from different languages…
What has been your biggest accomplishment? Spokesperson for a radio’s product . Song ‘Le Tabarnak’ on full radio and TV rotation. On Mims’s mixtapes & on The Alchemist’s mixtapes. Opening for Method Man & Redman tour and also the Fabolous tour in Canada. Spokesperson for a Sunglasses Company.

What has been your most difficult challenge? The racism out here in the medias…
What makes you different? So many different culture and talent in the collective … the song : ‘Trespass’ is the main international single right now getting played everywhere and it’s a Hip Hop/Reggae vibe in English, Creole and Patois…also members in the group raps in Arab, French, Lingala and other foreign languages…

What projects are you working on? We’re rolling everyday off this … websites promos, tours, radio interviews, magazines interviews, bookings, etc … and we have a few solo careers too…but the main next project I would say it’s the collective’s album ‘Les200 – Solide’ … that will come out in April 2009. We already have international solo projects that works and with the first group album I think it will be a certified classic and probably the best/mosat popular products in Canada.
Where are you from originally? Montreal, Quebec, Canada is what we represent everyday, but the collective is from everywhere…Haiti, Congo, Jamaica, Canada, Marocco, France, etc…

What artists inspire you? Artists : Ludacris, Wyclef Jean, Busta Rhymes, Trick Daddy, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Bun B, etc
Entrepreneurs : Diddy, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, etc.
How would you define your style of music? CrunkHall … it’s a mix between Crunk, Dancehall, Rap, Reggae, Street, etc….
What teams are you affiliated with? LES200 (THE200) & LUNETZ is the 2 only team in our family … all the others…it’s now us…we don’t hate at all and we suggest everybody to work with us…but we’re our own circle.
Who are some artists that you have worked with? We”re almost 200 for real in our crew so we try to keep the featurings very limited but we opened/featured with : Method Man, Redman, Fabolous, Gorilla Zoe, Cut Killer, Mr. Cheeks, FHB Boyz, The Alchemist, Tha Advocate, Guru, Planet Asia, Ja Rule, The Game, G-Unit, Billy Danze, and some more….
Who would you like to collab with? almost everybody but we have to feel the vibe first….because we’re real dudes…but mostly jamaican artist : Movado, Beenie Man, Sizzla, Collie Budz, Junior Reid, Spragga Benz, etc … plus all the artists that i’ve put in the previous questions…
Where do you see the future of music? It’s gone digital….we’re distributed physically & digitally and we make more money with the digital and ringtones… Music will never die…and also HipHop will live forever…the blacks & the streets took over the last decade in music in a positive way and I think there’s ups & downs but it will always be there…
Where do you see yourself in 1 year? One of the biggest sellers in urban music in Canada…hopefully internationally also be a brand in Music….Les200 (The200) as to be respected worldwide…more tours, more important featurings…
