The HIP HOP Connected event held on the 30 Sept 2005 was unique in the sense that it was the first HIP HOP event allowed on the woodwork at the ArtsCape Theatre since the inception of democracy 11 years ago.
Far from it just being a show featuring rappers, there were B-boys, BMXers, a basketball player and even theatrical elements added into the production.
