thursday was 2 for 1 day, well today’s saturday so i present take one get two free!
the rev got weeman & i a bigtrak jr for christmas, its just like the original one only a little smaller. Its got the same command pad, with crummy push contacts that are difficult to push, the same clock steering system & the noise when you tell it to do your bidding!
tom thomas was cruising along in the back of bigtrak when the nearside centre wheel started to lose traction. rather than panic and call fireman sam he calmly hopped out of bigtrak had a quick fettle with the wheel, & he was back on the move in no time. moral of the story, fireman sam isn’t the answer to everything.
weeman & i have been home alone today. we’ve played quite a bit of fireman sam & bigtrak. hence the picture. we also went to jules’s to finish of the last awkward bit of floor in fin’s (her lover/lodger fin, not weeman fin) room. i’m chuffed that he likes bigtrak, its much more fun than his fireman sam toys. we had special fin & dad pizza for dinner (tea in case any wiganers are reading this) wife was back by this time, so she had a pizza too.
the huge hunk of beef rib is all marinading away in the garage, ready for a nice slow cooking tomora. we’re gonna have some roasties (spuds & carrots) & very thin grated apple pitta breads with it. i’m looking forward to it 🙂
camera balanced on a fireman sam jigsaw box with 2 pieces wedged under the back of the camera pushing it forward. flash off camera on either full or 1/2 blast, always bounced of the screen & ceiling, resized & stuck into one image in photochop – other than that listed they’re straight outta compton
