When I first moved from NY in 2000, I threw a party at the Falcon Fire in Kissimmee. My security at the door alerted me of these two young knuckleheads starting trouble and trying to sneak a gun in. That’s when I first met P- Villain and J- Terra. Nine years later, Jose Carvajal, better known in the hip-hop world as P- Villain is more focused than ever. Born in Bronx, NY the day after Christmas in 1983, his musical roots stem from his grandfather who wrote music in Puerto Rico, and his mother who wrote poetry. After living the first ten years of his life in a one bedroom apartment of drug infested Bronx neighborhood without a father, he moved to Kissimmee, or Killasemi as he calls it in 1994. That’s when he began to take his talent more seriously and signed his first recording contract with No Sleep Ent. After the CEO of that company was incarcerated, P-Villain was again a free agent. At age 17 he was expelled from high school for felony and misdemeanor charges. Shortly after that he married his high school sweetheart and went on his own. Being a new husband and pursuing his career, he struggled to provide for his family. With not many options at his disposal, P- Villain had no other choice but to make money the best way he knew how – in the streets. By the age of 21, P-Vill had 2 solo albums, a music video and all the motivation he needed to make it to the top. Just a few weeks after his video debut, P –Villain was arrested and charged with first-degree felony of trafficking cocaine. After doing two and a half years he was released in March of 2008. A brand new man, P-Villain explains his current mind state as such: “After years of struggling with the burdens of poverty, growing up with out a father, losing friends and family to drug dealing and gun play and being a criminal, I’ve learned that there is more to life than what we as minorities know. The “dope game” is a dead end street that is designed for us to fail. The streets have too many disloyal ni&$az that will snitch out the next man to get them selves off the hook. No matter how much you think your so-called fam is “trust worthy”, there’s always someone that’s gonna fold under pressure. Your word is your bond! That is why I’d rather do a bid as a convict then life as a snitch! This whole experience has only made me a stronger and sharper businessman and individual.” P-Villain is currently working on a series of new projects including: Gutta Thang, Time Served and pushing his current single The New Me. “With plans of developing my own record label, and a series of small businesses, I’m more serious and focused than ever! With all I’ve lost in life, I refuse to lose any more. I have a lot to accomplish,” says a very determined P-Villain who gives a big shout out to: Beat Bros, G.T.E, Nicmaticz, J-Terra, Nitty, UndaTakaz, Boyz vs Life, Acie Blaze, Latino Fam, Dj Session, Dj Black, Neck Breaka Ent, Ready Rok, John Sankitts & Dead Poets.
