How did you get that name?: When I was a young jit. My uncle started calling me Papaduck after the former Haiti president Papa Doc.
What has been your biggest accomplishment?: Seeing my kids being born.
What has been your most difficult challenge?: Breaking my music into new areas. Got Dj’s that say they break music but they don’t. Sometime they say say it’s not going to do well in their market. They don’t play the music until they see playing the music in the streets or keep requesting it in the clubs or on radio. Then they want to make it seem like they were the ones that got the music hot in their area. Also dealing with Janky promoters. Some say that people might only know 1 song so the crowd wont be into it. Then when you get to the club and you’re performing you see that the fans know all the words to all your music. Artist keep doing what you do. keep it 100.
What makes you different?: I’m open with my fans. I try to make myself available to everyone out there.

Where are you from originally? : I’m from Belle Glade, Florida AKA Muck City.
How Long have you been making music? : Been in the game for about 10 yrs now
What artists inspire you? : Knowing that when I see people in the streets and they come up to me and say that they can relate to my music. It’s makes me feel like I’m doing something right.
How would you define your style of music? : I feel like I’m a hood representer that is a good voice for the streets or anyone 1on that hustle.

Where do you see the future of music? : Music is a strong tool that has inspired people for ever. As long as we keep putting out good product the future of the industry will keep moving in the right direction. Artist just need to stop allow these outside labels take total control over them.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year? : In a yr I hope to be doing more shows on the international scene.
