A new mixtape from a Chicago based emcee called Polar Bear dropped today. With 19 songs, and a feature from a Pure Cash favorite King Louie! There’s also a feature from Mario, not sure if this is the R&B star?

The tape opens with an intro to who Polar is, and the streets from his own perspective. “Dopeman” is the opening number, a slow, smooth stellar Hip-Hop track that features a huge female chorus from Thiana Chester. The King Louie assisted “Fu Fu” up next gives the listener a feel good vibe, with an uptempo bounce that finds Polar on an onslaught of lyrical swag. “iPhone Twerkin” and “Wiggle” both have a DJ Mustard type sound that will work in the club. The stand up track for me is “Ain’t Gone Talk” featuring Mario, this track has single written all over it, it’s an uplifting and uptempo club banger, with a trap instrumental and an anthemic autotuned hook – a definite 5-star feel.

THis mixtape is definitely one to check out, it leaves you expecting big things from the new Chiraq emcee.
