With multiple collaborations and showcases under his belt, multi-faceted MC Sinsay is making waves in Hip Hop. Now signed to Specialyst Entertainment and Maybach Music Group, the grateful but never satisfied artist, is not one to stand in the shadows of his label predecessors (Rick Ross, Torch, Mass Pike Miles and Gun Play). Taking on the challenges and experiences what mainstream music has to offer, Sinsay attracts fans that understand the authenticity of his music and relate to his stories.
Sinsay — Born Jarvin Scott, grew up in the Castle Hill area in Bronx, New York. It is this neighborhood, situated between the two main highways connecting the tri-state area that became Sinsay’s playground and influenced his life. In the 1980’s Castle Hill became a throughway for the drugs and violence that consumed many inner city communities in the northeast and introduced the young MC to real life situations that would later be the motivation for his music.
At age 15 the incredibly creative Sinsay began taking his true-life hardships and hunger and used his gift of music to strive for a better life for himself and his family. Realizing his lyrical influence, Sinsay decided to hone in on his new found passion and commit his life to music. He created his own path while trying his best to avoid the streets and incarceration. Sinsay’s eagerness exploded him onto the hip-hop scene where he invested long hours in the studio and on the streets aggressively self promoting his latest mix tapes to anyone that would listen. His efforts quickly earned him a fan base and lead him to connect personally with other DJs and MCs alike.
Sinsay’s intriguing lyrics demonstrates his mastery of the linguistic art of a true rapper-songwriter. His style blazes a new trail in hip hop music, one inspired by his deep roots in the streets and his life experiences. Now with the release of his latest project “Do It Big”, Sinsay is ready to turn the world into his stage and the stars into his fans.
