Where did you first get started? I got my start in Savannah, Ga.

How long have you been doing radio? Over 12 years

Have you ever been offered any money to play someone’s stuff and if so, what was the most? I’ve been asked by many who are not knowledgeable of the laws against it. Until I beg them to never have this conversation with me again.

What is the most outrageous phone call you have ever gotten from a caller? A woman claiming I’m her baby’s father

How many radio stations have you worked at? I’ve worked at a total of 4 radio stations

What is the most challenging part of being on the radio? The Politics

What is the most rewarding part of being on the radio? Tapping into two things I love…People and Music

What projects have you done besides radio? I have an independent label Tonyc Entertainment Group, LLC, I write, and compose and transpose music.

What advice would you give independent artists about getting their songs played on the radio? Focus on creating a street buzz before you go for radio. Own your market and your market will create major spins, in contrast to the 1 or 2 you’ll get as a favor.

What, if any local artists do you see making it big within the next 1-2 years? Treal, F’yah, Wes Fif, and KC. Hopefully my man Cash!!!
