Bout 2 years ago in December, 2010 Dequindrick was at his grandmas house chilling with his cousins having a good time a cousin of his was alwayz a big music fan so he dared him in front of everybody to rap off an old youtube popularized beat and as he was in the zone his people since this day make it known he is young and talented straight from the streets of pontiac Yung Yak was born.  From that day forward I knew that I wanted to be in the music industry and change raps culture as big voice in the world changing life as an artist. I frustratingly practiced and worked hard which has brought me where I’m at today.” Since 2010 Yung Yak has put out several mixtapes with his most recent project “Gods calling” which featured not one collaboration and was released July of 2011. Yung Yak has recently as of august 2012 signed to underground label N.T.M.S associated with Swagg Society, a large commidity of other local artist known as N.T.M.S  and has lately been working with Interscope records connected from The OMG Girls, and has released many singles.
