Every now and then, special new talent emerges from the West Coast, and this track came to my attention yesterday. It’s from Bay Area rapper Don P, featuring E-40, Mac Shawn 100 and Infamous Mackin, called “Having Money” and fully represents the independent hustle and money-making ability that is synonymous with the Bay Area’s history and image.

The rapper/actor/producer hails from Oakland, California, and is managed by Industry Veteran Jazzy from Jazzy Management, famous for the voice behind the iconic West Coast “Gangsta Granny” character. Don P isnt no stranger to the scene, last year he released an album titled “Talkin Bout Money” which featured Keyshia Cole. This is an artist to watch!
