How did you get that name? I was called a ‘Rogue’ by an old teacher in primary school and it was my nickname since then…years later i was doing a H.N.D in music tech and an assignment at the time was to register an ‘artist aka’ so i revived the nickname and put a ‘dj’ in front of it!!

What has been your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment is hard to nail in one fatal swoop!! Im currently working on music with an artist signed to sony for release through the sony label sometime in Q4 2009….

Also having recognition from Grammy award winning Songwriters/Producers like Glen Mosley (Neyo, Tyresse, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey and many more) and Tony Haynes who has produced artists including the legend himself Michael Jackson and many more including Quincy Jones and Peter Gabriel and has had over 70 million sales. So getting recognition from such high figures in the industry is a big deal to me personally.

What has been your most difficult challenge? My most difficult challenge so far has been Management or at least the lack of a manager with connections to the right people and able to cut through the ‘Red Tape’ surrounding a high profile artist….

At the moment im doing everything myself ‘the whole 360!’ but really i just want to write good music and let everyone hear it….My most difficult challenge is right now, breakin up a level

What makes you different? I’m English, intelligent and evil, just like in movies only taller!

What projects are you working on? Mixtape with One of the multi platinum selling So Solid Crew’s key rapper’s called ‘Face’ aka ‘Black piranha’ from the Uk.

How Long have you been making music? I’m 27, I have been Composing and Producing music for around ten years,

I’ve been cutting samples and using midi’s since the days of the atari and amiga computers when i was just 12 years old learning to play various Joe Satriani guitar solos on half speed with ‘Stereo Master 4D’ which was really adobe audition in the early 90’s!!!  I used to learn the notes like that by ear and play them at the proper speed after i knew the notes…I still play by ear.

I learn’t Guitar at 8 years old….Nearly twenty years ago!

I’d say every major artist has something musically amazing to offer so id like to work with everyone really…Who wouldn’t i guess.

Where do you see the future of music? Well the industry is being kicked around a bit from illegal downloads (95% of all music downloads in 2008 were illegal here in the uk!) So id say it could go 2 ways- The only people making music will be ‘Fame seekers’ and musicians with jobs at burger shack…so thats not good.

Or …Well the way around illegal downloads is really to charge people to upload files over a certain size or file type or both!!!! Im just a songwriter so dont ask me anymore than that please!!!
