Known as VICCI (v-ch;ee), three young men have created a unique sound that has caused attention to spur amongst the mixtape and underground

scene. VICCI is likely to be considered a hip-hop group with evident funk and rock influence. Stacey Diamonds who is (21) serves on the production/vocals, Schola (21)/vocals and Mickey B. (22)/vocals. It’s been an unbeatable formula since 2003. Originally from upstate American cities such as Boston & NYC, the VICCI gentlemen have received a blended influence of music living in southern Florida. Yet a trip to California is what inspired their music the most in 2006. VICCI pushes for a newly found mainstream. Expressing some personal topics in their own lives with songs like “Day After Day” that speak of survival and escape of the streets. Living the fast life of “Hollywood”. Or “Dancin” that questions the concept of fun, religion, and poverty. As said from a likable industry figure himself “They have a sound that I can see people gravitating towards” – Atiba (Darkchild, Artist). VICCI has recently recorded the highly anticipated mixtape with V.O.S. (Voice of Da Streetz) called L.M.M. Land Money Murder.

How did you get that name?
VICCI pronounced (v-ch;ee) is the Italian meaning for Conquer. Which is fitting for this group who loves to push the sound of music and doesn’t NO for an answer. Their slogan is ‘I VICCI’…

What has been your biggest accomplishment?
Building our own Brand and Sound that is like none thats been heard before. As well as their project LAND.MONEY.MURDER. that took alot to get out to the people but its here!

What has been your most difficult challenge?
Trying to break through the industry while keep creative integrity and not conforming to our surroundings. Coming out of Florida sometime a certain style of music is expected but VICCI is so versatile it would do the game any good if we dumb it down.

What projects are you working on?
We just released LMM so now we are heavily working on the EP that should definitely set us further from any competition. Yet before that we have one more mixtape dropping late October early November called ‘…..’

Where are you from originally?
Our 3 person group consists of Stacey Diamonds from Mt.Vernon, NY, Mickey B from the Bronx, and Sky L. from Boston MA.

How Long have you been making music?
We been around music our whole lives but making music together for about 7 years and counting.

What artists inspire you?
Jay-Z, Kanye West Tupac, Biggie, Tribe Called Quest, Nas, NERD, Timbaland, Lil Wayne, Run DMC, Lupe Fiasco, Young Jeezy, Ricky Ross, TI, Diddy, etc all the artist that seem to push the bar for music.

How would you define your style of music?
Our sound which is like New Orleans gumbo mixed with New Yorks Al’s Pizza!

What teams are you affiliated with?
We are mostly independent but we def rocks wit ALL Pro, Flow Line Music, and Voice of the Streetz

Who would you like to collab with?
We would love to work with anyone who can challenge us in the studio in all genres. Kanye West, Lupe, Sean Kingston, Pharell, Atiba, T-Pain, Lloyd, Jeezy, Chris Brown, all of the real music makers.

Where do you see the future of music?
Its NOT dead it just needs some change like Obama!

Where do you see yourself in 1 year?
Doing another interview with Pure Cash Mag. while on a major city tour talking about our album and how far we came!
